
Traditional Pomelo Salad

Ingredients
Nam Pla Wan Dipping (Happy Choice brand) | 205 g. |
Pomelo (or as desired) | 3-4 pulp |
Dried shrimp | 25 g. |
Coarsely crushed roasted peanuts | 25 g. |
Shallots | 2 tbsp. |
Chili peppers | 1 tbsp. |
Palm sugar | 50 g. |
Fish sauce | ½ tbsp. |
Chili powder | 1 tsp |
Water | 1 cup |
Cooking
1. Peel the pomelo pulp carefully.
2. In a saucepan over medium heat, mix ½ tablespoon fish sauce, 50 grams palm sugar, and 1 cup water. Bring to a simmer over low heat, then remove from heat and let it cool.
3. In a bowl, combine the mix on step 2 with Nam Pla wan (Happy Choice brand),chili powder, crushed roasted peanuts, chili peppers, shallots, and dried shrimp.
4. Gentally mix the pomelo with the dressing on step 3.
5. Serve the pomelo spicy salad with extra dried shrimp, sliced chili peppers, and sliced shallots.
